No More Grind: Overwatch 2 Breaks Free with Season 10 Unlocks!

Blizzard has just dropped a bombshell for Overwatch 2 fans with the announcement that starting from Season 10 onwards, all heroes will be unlocked for every player. That means no more grinding through matches or purchasing premium battle passes to access the latest characters. Additionally, the upcoming hero Venture will be available to everyone right from the start of Season 10, shaking up the traditional unlock system.

Gone are the days of tedious unlocking processes. Instead, new players will only need to complete a brief tutorial, after which they'll have access to the entire roster of Overwatch 2 heroes. Say goodbye to restrictions and hello to freedom in team composition choices!

But that's not all. Season 10 will introduce the Mythic Shop, offering players the chance to work towards past and current seasonal Mythic hero skins through the Premium Battle Pass. Plus, there's more flexibility in how players can progress through these skins, allowing for a personalized unlocking experience.

Coins are also getting a makeover. By progressing through both the free and premium battle pass tracks, players can earn a hefty sum of coins—around 540 to 600 per season—which can be splurged on some seriously cool skins. It's raining coins, hallelujah!

Looking ahead to Season 11, Blizzard has plans to revamp maps, starting with a priority on the Colosseo map and continuing with others in subsequent seasons. And for those eager to dive into new gameplay experiences, a Push map called Runasapi, set in Peru, is on the horizon.
